"Brio was my massage therapist for years before moving out of state and I can’t recommend them enough. I’ve been to 5 massage therapists in my life now and Brio is still my favorite. Brio does a great job of checking in both on what your needs and preferences are and also your boundaries. Because of this, I felt super comfortable and safe right off the bat and this also made me trust Brio with my body right away. (One small example: they keyed in to what relaxation cds I liked and didn’t like playing in the background. What attention!) Some other things that makes Brio tops:

• they have a good understanding of the minutiae of anatomy (all the little tendons, etc. that tie in to a problem area).
• an intuitive sense about problem areas (sometimes I’d forget to tell Brio about someplace I’d had pain and yet they’d zero in on it and alleviate the issue).
• they are very affirming and upbeat. This just adds to an overall positive experience.
